The Steering Group
The Steering Group support the leadership and direction for the Alliance of Sport. It is Chaired by James Mapstone, Founder and Managing Director of the 2nd Chance Group. The Secretariat is Justin Coleman, Head of the Alliance of Sport at 2nd Chance Group.
The Steering Group monitor, support and challenge the work of Positive Action Groups. It is made up of key stakeholders from all sectors. Current members include:
2nd Chance Group, Active Communities Network, Beyond Sport, Clinks, Comic Relief, Commonwealth Secretariat, DCMS, English Football League Trust, HM Prison and Probation Service, Jon Neill Consultants, Ministry of Justice, New Philanthropy Capital, Prisoners Education Trust, Public Health England, Royal Holloway University of London, Sported, Street Games, Tanayah Sam Associates, Unicef, University of Gloucestershire and the Youth Justice Board.
Positive Action Groups (PAG’s)
PAGs comprise a wider range of experts, ranging from service users, community and front-line organisations to statutory services and policy makers. Together, we explore key issues, support additional stakeholder engagement and develop, test and evaluate best practice.
