Lorraine McMullen is a Regional Director in Care UK’s Health in Justice Division, delivering the clinical and operational healthcare required in their extensive network of custodial sites. She has a passion for patient-centred care and is responsible for the design and quality of healthcare services to this hard to reach group.
Lorraine has developed a healthcare strategy addressing the complex patient needs. The population Care UK serves is as diverse as the range of healthcare on offer. This includes all primary care treatments, sexual health, diagnostics, substance misuse and mental health services. Clients range from high security prisons, open prisons, to immigration centres.
Lorraine graduated with a degree in Nursing from Trinity College Dublin. She then worked in private and public healthcare sectors within the UK and Ireland. Hard to reach groups require special health care and treatment. This experience led to Lorraine successfully implementing best practice in schools, sexual health clinics, prisons and other Healthcare settings.
