APPG Meeting

As part of celebrating Black History Month, this meeting explored how physical activity and sport is being used to divert and prevent ethnically diverse children from being involved with the Youth Justice System across England and Wales.

Our speakers included:

• Keith Fraser, Chair of the Youth Justice Board
• Dr Hannah Hammond from the University of Birmingham
• Martine Smith, Equity Lead at Maindee Primary School in Newport.
