Alliance of Sport seeking Project Manager

Are you passionate about equality? Do you have a good knowledge of the Youth Justice System? Are you familiar with using sport and physical activity for social change?

The Alliance of Sport in Criminal Justice is looking for a new Project Manager to lead on a ground-breaking initiative, ‘Levelling the Playing Field’.

The project has been designed to use the power of sport and physical activity to engage and improve health and life outcomes for black, Asian or minority ethnic children at risk of entering, or who are already disproportionately involved in, the criminal justice system in England and Wales.

You must be a proactive and forward-thinking professional with excellent organisational and stakeholder engagement skills. You will work closely with the wider Project Management Team and our partners at the Youth Justice Board to mitigate and manage project risks impacting on the delivery of the project plan.

You will also manage and influence senior stakeholders, deliver or facilitate presentations, training and workshops across the range of national project locations, so excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills are essential.

As the Project Manager, you will operate across all project areas including London, West Midlands, South Yorkshire and Gwent. Travel and subsistence will be reimbursed in line with the Alliance of Sport Expenses Policy.
