Triangle Trust offer funding for organisations rehabilitating offenders
The Triangle Trust is currently accepting funding applications from organisations working to rehabilitate offenders.
The Trust provides funding twice a year through its Development Grants programme: one round is held for organisations working with carers and the other round is for organisations working with the rehabilitation of offenders or ex-offenders.
The Development Grants are to be used to develop sustainable income sources so that the applicant organisation’s income will not be reduced when the grant comes to an end. In other words, the funding is to support the development of a solid foundation for the future.
For example, the grant could enable an organisation to make a step change such as diversifying its income streams or setting up a social enterprise to help it become more sustainable in the long term.
Grants are available for up to £80,000 over three years with a maximum of £35,000 in the first year. The amount requested each year is expected to taper down as applicants develop other sustainable income streams.
Registered charities, not-for-profit social enterprises and community interest companies that are working within the UK and have a UK office are eligible to apply. The Trust particularly welcomes applications from organisations working in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
For this round, organisations must have a constitution whose primary purpose is to support the rehabilitation of offenders or ex-offenders.
There is a two-stage application process. Click here for more information.
The deadline for stage one applications is 23 October 2019 (noon).
