Lucio Mesquita

Lucio grew up in Brazil and after graduating in Journalism and Broadcast Journalism, came to the UK to pursue a career in the industry. Lucio has held many senior leadership roles at the BBC from Head of Region in the South West to Director of Monitoring.

More recently, Managing Director at Guardian Media Ltd in Trinidad and Tobago. Lucio is currently working as a media executive, senior news editor and consultant. He has ample experience leading large local, national and international professional media teams and organisations.

Lucio is also a Trustee of the Creative Youth Network in Bristol.
