Looked After Children Group
The Looked After Children Positive Action Group aims to identify the role of sport in the lives of Looked After Children.
This group is Chaired by Professor Andrew Parker of Gloucestershire University and is made up of representatives from Public Health England, the Alliance of Sport and Gloucestershire University.
The is working towards the following objectives:
- Carry out research to better understand how effective sport can be in the lives of Looked After Children
- Create a practitioner framework to support front line delivery and the development of staff
We will be promoting dates of the meetings in our events section of the website. We will also be sharing a summary of each meeting so you share our progress and be part of our journey.
