The Alliance of Sport have been given a boost to their Get Well Stay Well initiative with a £30,000 grant from the Peter Harrison Foundation.

Making a lasting impact.

The Peter Harrison Foundation is an independent grant-making foundation which supports opportunities creating a lasting impact for those who face physical, mental, social or economic barriers.

Building a movement.

“We are delighted to receive support from the Peter Harrison Foundation, which is investing in the further development of the Get Well Stay Well initiative.

This new campaign will build a movement and make a difference in the lives of children, young people, and adults involved with the welfare and justice systems by promoting physical activity and initiatives designed to enhance their wellbeing to create positive change.”  James Mapstone, Alliance of Sport CEO

Breaking through barriers. Seizing opportunities.

Get Well Stay Well is a growing collaboration project, bringing together organisations and services to identify barriers and opportunities for active and healthy lifestyles.

The network will be collaborating with senior government leaders to introduce a National Work Plan and address barriers to participation and health promotion.
